Micro Tech Training Center is committed to the educational and professional enrichment of each student. The curriculum and environment provide an atmosphere in which students can develop, excel and form a positive self-image. The school takes pride in enhancing basic science, clinical, leadership, management and technical skills in addition to preparing students for the workplace. Micro Tech Training Center aims to train individuals to obtain and maintain employment in the fields of allied health and criminal justice. Practical and marketable skills of the students are developed through classroom theory and hands-on instruction. Professionalism and strong ethical work habits are developed throughout the training with examples from faculty and staff.
The faculty is committed to providing and nurturing a caring environment that develops basic and critical thinking abilities, interpersonal skills and workplace competencies with the ultimate goal of improving the student’s quality of life.
Micro Tech Training Center was established in 1990 providing computer and medical training.. The school was approved by the New Jersey Department of Education
The school applied for accreditation after five (5) years of demonstrated ability to train and place individuals in the field of the training. The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) granted initial accreditation in 1995. The school started offering financial aid to qualified students in 1996.
Student population was noted to be steadily increasing. Training has been met with success in terms of job satisfaction and placement of graduates. Evening and Saturday classes were added to accommodate the demands of the working group.
Continuous evaluation, monitoring, and surveys of existing programs and future market needs led Micro Tech Training Center to relocate to a new and modern facility at 3000 JFK Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ, The school has grown to offer allied health programs in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Technician, Massage Therapy, Surgical Technician and Medical Assistant.
In 2004, Micro Tech Training Center opened the Belleville Branch Campus in order to better serve students in the Newark area and the suburbs north and west of Newark. Micro Tech Training Center will continue to offer more allied health programs to meet the demands of the workplace.
